Employers will now have to display posters that inform employees about their rights to unionize, thanks to a new regulation issued last week by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). These posters must tell employees about their rights to collective bargaining, to give out union literature and to work together to improve wages and working conditions without employer retaliation. This new rule goes into effect on November 14, 2011. A comprehensive summary of the rule, as well as the text of the rule, may be viewed here.
