Rob Hicks represents unions and employees in federal/state labor and employment law matters. He has worked with unions and their members in grievance processing, arbitrations, contract negotiations, NLRB representation, unfair labor practice proceedings, unemployment compensation appeals, and federal litigation involving retiree insurance claims, union duty of fair representation, and other contract disputes. He also assists unions with tax filings and other legal issues related to union real estate and property. Mr. Hicks has also represented Indiana employees before the State Employees’ Appeals Commissions (SEAC).
Mr. Hicks has contributed to the Employment and Labor Law Handbook for Indiana Lawyers. He has also participated on the faculty of the National Labor Relations Board Annual Labor Management Seminar and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum Labor and Employment Law Update.
